The Sloth and the Dragonfly

“I am Dragonfly,” explained the creature.

“You’re wings are so beautiful! I wish I had wings,” said Sloth sadly.

“Why do you want wings, Sloth?” asked Dragonfly.

“To be able to see beyond this tree, and know what a mountain looks like, or a river. To fly freely above this place where I sit day after day,” answered Sloth.

“I might be able to help you,” replied Dragonfly.

“Impossible,” said Sloth. “I don’t have wings.”

“You don’t need wings to see faraway places,” said Dragonfly. “Think of it like an adventure in your mind.”
